Mascletà

Fireworks in Fallas

Crowded streets and squares

The main spots

Mascletàs are performed all around the Valencian Community but the most famous ones are the ones featured in the City Hall Square from March 3rd to March 19th at 2 pm.

It’s always crowded! But rain or shine, Valencians -and tourists- always get their noon fireworks show.

What is a mascleta?

It gets its name from masclets (very loud firecrackers). Unlike fireworks that seek visual stimulation, mascletàs aim to stimulate the body through strong sounds.

A more visually focused mascletà is that of the “Nit del foc”, which closes the Fallas festivities.
