A traditional market in a special place

The city’s Round Square is a major tourist attraction for its peculiarity. It’s part of the Historic Center and features many traditional market stalls as well as restaurants.

Plaza Redonda is also near other markets like the Central Market, and to the Cathedral Complex.

The fountain

This 19th century square is the work of Salvador Escrig Melchor, who designed it with commerce in mind. Back then, it was also called “the hole”.

In its center, you’ll find a fountain from 1850, surrounded by shops and gourmet restaurants.

On Sundays and holidays, there’s a special fair with different shops and stands selling coins and stamps, music records, books and trading cards. Ideal for collectors.
