August 8, 2017, Valencia’s North Station turned 100 years old!

This century-old building is one of the few modernist stations left in Spain, as well as one of the most unique due to its ornamentation. If you come to Valencia, don’t forget to visit and take a picture and/or selfie at one of the most photographed places in the city.

A relevant building

The station, opened in 1917, is named after the CCHNE, the railway company responsible for its construction. Nowadays, it’s run by Adif.

The building was declared a Cultural Heritage Site in 1987.

A strategic location

Valencia’s Estació del Nord is the city’s main train station and it features a strategic location, right next to the Bullring and 200m from City Hall.

It features connections with Metrovalencia lines 3 and 5, and the city’s bus network.
