Oceanografic

The largest aquarium in Europe

The Oceanographic Museum is the most famous building of the City of Arts and Sciences and thus, the most visited one.

A word of advice: there’s usually a long line and just a few shows per day so book in advance through the CAC’s website.

A unique experience

The largest European aquarium

The Oceanografic is the largest aquarium in Europe, featuring all kinds of species representative of the world’s main marine ecosystems: over 45.000 of 500 different species.

Each building is identified with different aquatic environments: the Mediterranean, Wetlands, Temperate and Tropical Seas, Oceans, the Antarctic, the Arctic, Islands and the Red Sea, as well as the impressive Dolphinarium, where visitors can enjoy a unique show and kids can even be part of it.
