Valencia’s historic Central Market celebrates its 100th anniversary with a typical mascletà (fireworks) and two giant paellas.

On November 6 from 10:30am to 2pm, the “festa al Mercat” (party at the Market) at the Market Square, will feature a regional dances exhibition. At 2 pm, as usual, it’s fireworks time at City Hall Square. And finally, in front of the Silk Exchange, you’ll be able to taste the original paella. Be aware that this isn’t free; it’s 3 euros each and 2.000 rations will be served.
