Valencia’s Christmas Markets

Dec 1, 2021 - Jan 6, 2022

Valencia offers lots of different options for locals and tourists during the holiday season. Check out the main markets you’ll bump into when you’re walking around the city.

Valencia’s traditional Xmas market

Changing locations from its usual spot (around Central Market) to Market Square (in front of the Silk Exchange building), Valencia’s traditional Xmas market consists of about 80 stands where you’ll find everything from Christmas candy to typical decorations, ideal as gifts or souvenirs!

Schedule: December 1st to January 6, from 9 am to 10 pm, except December 24 (open until 2 am) and January 5 (open until 5 am!).

Ice skating rink and carousel at City Hall Square

Unmissable for the whole family (there’s one rink for adults and another one for children). In front of the City Council.

Schedule: November 30 to January 6, every day of the week from 11 am to 11 pm, except December 24 and 31, from 11 am to 8 pm.
Prices: €8 for the ice rink (€5 for children) and €3,50 for the carousel.

Nadalenca at the Bullring

La Nadalenca is a brand new event arriving in Valencia and celebrated inside the Bullring. You’ll find different activities and events throughout the month of December until January 6, 2019.

It starts with a typical Christmas market on December 1st and 2nd; followed by a Beer Fest (4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 December), featuring beer, food, and music; and the circus show “Killerland” on the week of December 11 to 16. Coliseo Winter Music will offer a special concert on New Year’s Eve.

HoHoHo! at Tapinería Market

As usual, Tapinería Market aims to be different and offers “warm terraces” so you don’t miss the usual drinks at their bars during the winter. Fashion, jewelry, art, and decor are waiting at Tapinería Square. Discover Hohoho!

Schedule: From December 20 to January 5.

Crafts show in Colón Market

Arts and crafts as well as Xmas products and activities (Santa, the Three Wise Men, magic shows, etc.) inside Valencia’s iconic Colón Market.

Schedule: December 13 to January 6, from 10 am to 10 pm.

Christmas at the City of Arts and Sciences

We’ve already dedicated a special page to this event since it’s one of the most famous annual events in the city located in a “tourists favorite” spot.

Food trucks, Xmas market, and lots of activities are waiting at the City of Arts.

Schedule: December 15 to January 6, from 11:30 am to 9 pm. Check out this event’s page for days with a different schedule.
